Working and Working Out

There’s not much to say. In fact, I’m so tired from working as a medical courier and from working out 30-50 minutes every day that the idea of blogging has lost its pizzazz, for the moment.

June 24 Weigh In

In a nut shell, my weight loss is moving at a snail’s pace…but at least I have a pace! June 24’s weigh-in recorded this fact: Since December 15, I have lost 22.2 pounds. And since February 29, when I decided to lose 26.2 pounds after Dan’s inspirational marathon run, I have lost 12.4 pounds. It seems I am losing around 3.7 pounds a month, which is slightly less than one pound a week.

When the numbers don’t please my perfectionistic nature, I tell myself to cheer up… hopefully doing IT this way will result in less flabby skin afterwards. Hopefully doing IT this way will prevent hospitalizations and surgeries that people can face with rapid weight loss.

So, I’m not thrilled with my numbers, but I’m okay with them. Cheers!
